Day | 01
Welcome aboard Thomas Cook’s ‘Scenic New Zealand’ tour. Depart for Auckland.
Today, begin your tour to New Zealand. Get set as you board your overnight flight to the most spectacular part of the world.
Day | 02
Arrive into Auckland – the ‘City of Sails’.
On arrival at Auckland airport, you will be met by the Thomas Cook local representative who will be waiting outside the baggage claim area to welcome and transfer you to your centrally located hotel.
Dinner onboard the flight.
Overnight at Hotel Skycity/Crowne Plaza or similar, in Auckland.
Day | 03
Proceed to Christchurch, the ‘Garden city’. Today visit the International Antarctic Centre and also enjoy your city tour.
Today after an American Breakfast proceed to the airport to board your flight to Christchurch.
On arrival in Christchurch visit the International Antarctic Centre – recreating the atmosphere of the Antarctic - the Frozen Continent. The Snow & Ice Experience is great fun for all ages - where you will slide down an icy slope, shelter in the ice cave, brave the wind chill machine at minus 18° Celsius.
Later we proceed for a city tour of the ‘Garden city’ – Christchurch, visiting The Cathedral, museums, Hagley Park, the famous Gothic-style University building. Drive past the city’s beautiful parks, gardens and proceed to the Cashmere Hills for a breathtaking view of Christchurch and the Southern Alps.
Later check into your hotel.
Tonight, enjoy a delicious dinner at a local Indian restaurant.

Day | 04
Get set for the ride of your life on the Tranz Alpine Express – the most scenic route in New Zealand. Onto Franz Josef.
After a delicious American breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed to board the Tranz Alpine Express to Arthur’s Pass. On this train ride you will pass through the most scenic sights of the South Island.
On arrival proceed to Franz Josef. Enroute enjoy an Indian Lunch. On arrival at Franz Josef, check into your hotel. The rest of the evening is free at leisure.
Enjoy a Continental dinner at a local restaurant.
Overnight at Hotel Franz Josef or similar, in Franz Josef.
Day | 05
Onto Queenstown – New Zealand’s adventure capital. En route visit “Puzzling World” at Wanaka.
After a delicious breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed to Queenstown. Drive via Haast Pass, the long one-lane bridge over the Haast River which leads you into the settlement of Haast, once a construction camp for the ministry of Works. En route we visit the Puzzling World at Wanaka, which is a unique attraction specializing in puzzling eccentricity. Today enjoy a delicious Indian Lunch
On arrival into Queenstown, we proceed to the hotel for check in.
Enjoy a sumptuous Indian dinner at a local Indian restaurant.
Overnight at Hotel Novotel/ Millennium or similar, in Queenstown.
Day | 06
Today we set out for the most spectacular cruise to the Milford Sound.
After an American breakfast, depart from Queenstown and travel via Te Anau through the awe-inspiring Homer Tunnel and the stunning glacier-carved Eglington Valley, to arrive at Milford Sound.
Enjoy the full-day on an unforgettable Milford Sound cruise, which sails right up to the mouth of the Tasman Sea (weather permitting). Enjoy a delicious vegetarian/ non-vegetarian lunch on board the cruise. Journey into the untouched paradise of Milford Sound, exploring the natural wonders and history surrounding this deep fjord.
Later tonight, enjoy a sumptuous Indian dinner awaits you at a local restaurant.

Day | 07
Day Free. Later in the evening experience the Gondola ride that gives you the best views of this city.
Today after an American Breakfast at the hotel, the morning is at leisure for you to explore this beautiful city on your own. You have the opportuinty to enjoy Bungee Jumping, Sky diving, etc.
Later this evening get ready to experience the famous Gondola ride - A fast convenient access to the best views in the region, which is reputed to be the steepest lift in the Southern Hemisphere. The gondola carries visitors high above Queenstown to the Skyline complex located on Bob's Peak.
Tonight a delicious Indian dinner awaits you at a local restaurant.

Day | 08
Today proceed to the North Island, onto Rotorua – “The Thermal city”. On arrival proceed to enjoy the sheep shows at Agrodome. Today we also visit the Te Puia Thermal Reserve.
After a delicious breakfast, we check out of the hotel and proceed to the airport to board your flight to Rotorua. On arrival proceed to Agrodome to witness the Agrodome Agricultural Show, where you will be entertained by New Zealand’s performing sheep and other attractions. Today we have a basic packed lunch.
After an exciting Sheep show, proceed to the Te Puia Thermal Reserve where you can wander around the bubbling mud pools and see the famous ‘Pohutu’ Geyser. Later check into your centrally located hotel.
Tonight, enjoy a delicious Indian dinner at a local Indian restaurant.
Overnight at Hotel Novotel/ Millennium or similar, in Rotorua.
Day | 09
Onto Auckland, en route visit to the beautiful Waitomo Caves. Later today sit back and enjoy the spectacular views of the city on your city tour of Auckland – the City of Sails.
After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, proceed to visit the Waitomo Caves through the lush Waikato region. En route enjoy a delicious continental lunch. Marvel at Mother Nature's light display, as you glide silently through the starry wonderland caves of Glow-worm situated underground along the Waitomo River and gaze in silence at the myriad of glow-worm lights that make up the Glowworm Grotto. As you enter this galaxy of tiny living lights, you'll immediately experience a serene ambience and be fascinated and intrigued by tiny glowworms that light your way.
Later we proceed to Auckland – The City of Sails. On arrival we take you for a city tour of Auckland. Visit Mt. Eden where you will enjoy the spectacular view of the city and harbour and many more interesting sights. Drive past the Victoria Park market, the West Haven Marina, the War Memorial Museum and through the Parnell, onto Bastion Point amongst Auckland’s most expensive residential area. The view of the Waite Mata Harbour and beaches are unmatched.

This morning after an American breakfast, check out and transfer to the airport, where your memorable Thomas Cook tour comes to an end. WHAT YOUR TOUR PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE
• Rs 2,500/- the cost of deviation, in case you want to deviate from the group departure dates mentioned in the brochure.
• The tour cost does not include any POE charges and passport charges.
• New Zealand departure tax (approx NZD 25), Auckland airport tax (approx NZD 5) and Queenstown airport tax (approx NZD 5).
• Cost of Basic Travel Quota equivalent to USD 10,000/-.
• Any increase in rate of exchange leading to an increase in surface transportation and land arrangements which may come into effect prior to departure. Price quoted are based on the rates of 1 AUD = INR 35 The tour price is subject to increase without notice, if this rate changes substantially prior to departure.
• Any increase in the air fare charged by the airlines on your air ticket (presently calculated at rates as of December 01, 2007).
• Any expenses of personal nature such as laundry expenses, wines, mineral water, food and drinks not in the regular menus provided by us.
• Tips to the guides, hotel waiters, drivers, etc.
• Meals other than mentioned in your itinerary.
• Cost of excursions, sightseeing, entrance fees and local guides availed of by the passengers, other than that mentioned in the 'What your Tour Price Includes' box.
POINTS TO BE NOTED
• Prices quoted are based as per the rate of exchange of 1 AUD = INR 35. The tour price is subject to increase without notice if this rate changes substantially prior to departure. • All prices are ex-hub city only. Passengers from any other city can join from the hub city; however any expenses borne by the passengers to/from the hub city is at their own expense. • The cost of air fare included in the above tour cost is based on the fare structure as of December 01, 2007. • Any further increase in the airfare due to an increase in the fuel price, change in the Government regulations, taxes, etc., charged by the airline will have to be borne by the passengers; Thomas Cook will not be held responsible for the same. • Any damage caused to the hotel rooms or coach during your stay shall be payable by the passengers. Thomas Cook will not be liable for the same. • The Management reserves the right to claim any additional expenses incurred due to delay or changes in the schedule of trains, flights, coach, cruise or other services. • We reserve the right to amend, alter, vary or withdraw any particular departure; excursions advertised or substitute a hotel of similar class if deemed necessary. • For the convenience of our passengers, we will, sometimes, amend the itinerary. However, all services will remain the same. • There are no refunds for any services, i.e. meals, sightseeing, etc. not utilized on the tour. • The Company reserves the right to alter the order of the itinerary. The same will be informed to the client before the departure. • Due to Trade Fairs and Conventions in the cities, the hotels may be blocked out more than 02 years in advance.
